It is an interesting experience to come in terms with your own thoughts, acknowledging their presence. It is these thoughts that make your day seem bright or gloomy, enjoyable or boring. They are like pixels that make up the picture of life yet are miniscule enough to go unnoticed unless one pays attention to it. I realize that often during those moments of quiet introspection following panic attacks that seize me occasionally. Sometimes, life feels like a bucket overflowing with water just because we have forgotten to close the tap. The power to close and open the tap is something we often surrender to the fast pace of our lifestyle. The alarms that our bodies and minds sound are often drowned in the loud noise blaring in the background. Reconnection with self is what that lends balance and meaning to our lives. The impromptu decision to start writing this new series is also a step in that direction – to connect the dots of thoughts and trace back life to its true purpose, in the first place.
